I'm a male at age of 30 with oily skin. My face got scars due to acne. Even pores & thin lines are slightly visible. I want to know whom should i consult. A dermatologist or a spa ? Can any1 suggest a good choice in mumbai.

It seems like I've tried everythinggg for my acne but nothing works! One of my friends who has also has acne went to a dermatologist and said that it didn't really help him. Will going to see a dermatologist help to finally clear my skin or is it just a waste of time?

I have tried all the supermarket products and the seem to work for a small amount of time but then the acne just starts coming back, maybe my skin become immune to it, same story with Proactiv it worked for a wee while but now we are back at square one. My dermatologist is really good. My acne is clearing up so well. The only problem is whenever we go there to get more acne cleansers and gels and stuff, it is so expensive. We are not poor, but I just feel bad. Should I continue my regimen because it works so well, or should I try something cheaper such as ProActiv or Acnefree? I am just worried that my acne will come back if I do.
