Gap in kitchen layout?

Gap in kitchen layout?

I have recently had an ikea kitchen fitted, the kitchen wasnt planned very well and cabinets had to be moved and changed to fit. I have now been left with a 13cm gap. I have been trying to find some wire baskets or a wine rack to fit in this, i quite like the pull out units you can buy but they are 2cm too wide! any other suggestions?

Should I use a plastic anchor to mount a hanging wine rack on the wall?

Should I use a plastic anchor to mount a hanging wine rack on the wall?

The wine rack has a mount with two screw holes, and then there are like three loopy metal pieces that hang off it with room for six wine bottles through the loops. My walls are plaster. I was planning on drilling a hole directly into the wall stud and using plastic expansion anchors. Will this work, or is there a better way? I've heard conflicting reports. I also bought some toggle bolts but it seems like a better idea to go directly into the stud. Do I even need anchors if screwing into the stud? Thanks!

Should I keep bottled wine in a wine cooler or in a dry place to store it?

Should I keep bottled wine in a wine cooler or in a dry place to store it?

I'm thinking about getting a wine rack for my basement or a wine cooler. However, is it bad to chill wine for long periods of time if you don't plan on opening it anytime soon? Or does it not matter either way?
